How I Work
We begin by discussing what designs of mine you have seen that you’re drawn to. I take a non-refundable $50 design deposit that goes toward the final cost of your piece. I’ll then work up a few original drawings for you, and we’ll continue to narrow down the design from there. Sometimes this involves making a few additional drawings or changing a design element to better suit your taste. After we’ve settled on a design, I’ll ask for a larger deposit, then production on your piece has officially begun!
The collaborative process
The lead time for custom bedding depends on the size, type, and complexity of your piece, such as if it is a duvet or blanket, and also how busy I am at the time. In general, it is safe to expect at least one month and up to two months of production time for a duvet, and at least a month and a half and up to three months for a blanket/quilt.
Every custom piece comes with some goodies, including a handmade linen storage bag, an adorable polaroid of an in-process studio shot of your piece being made, and a discount code for a future purchase on my site.
Timing
Custom pieces are not eligible for any discount unless being purchased in quantities larger than three pieces. I am flexible on a case-by-case basis about payment methods and installments. I like to work with what works for you. Such as paying in three installments rather than two.
